Call Me is a culmination of years spent honing not only his musical skills, but his “artistic vision” as a whole. Hailing from Santa Cruz, CA a beautiful beach town just outside of the booming tech mecca that is the silicon valley. Along with having housed some of the biggest names in bass music (G Jones, Eprom, Minnesota, Shlump) Santa Cruz is also the birthplace of one of the most highly regarded drum machines in hiphop history: the Emu sp-1200. Used by legends such as Dr.Dre, Rick Rubin, Mannie Fresh, Pete Rock, and Kanye West, this drum machine’s roots run deep.
Coming from a place so full in music history, it’s no surprise that Call Me is able to bridge the worlds of EDM and hiphop with ease. With support from some of the leading names in bass music today (Bleep Bloop, Minnesota, Shlump, Caspa, NastyNasty, G Jones, Lunice, Chee, DMVU, Little Snake, Abelation, Eazybaked), it’s looking like 2020 is going to be a stepping stone for something much bigger on the horizon for this 26 year old.

I can't stop listening to this album. It's so good. So many different amazing songs. Yheti can turn such small amounts of time into massive complex journeys. Signals from above grew on me over time a great deal and I think that is always a special and mysterious thing. voidhaven
Great, bananas electronic music on the latest from Kamoun, with rhythms that turn cartwheels and tones that tie themselves up in knots. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 12, 2023
